Chubb today announced the expansion of its team in Benelux with three senior underwriters. This will allow Chubb to further strengthen its Chubb's service around fast-growing insurance products like cyber and the middle-market segment in Benelux.
Lars Springeling (30) will start on 1 June in the new role of Senior Cyber Underwriter as Chubb plans for further growth in the area of cyber risk. Lars comes from AIG Europe, where he has worked as Underwriter Professional Liability & Cyber in recent years. In this role he was responsible for (professional) liability and cyber insurance.
Patrick van der Pluijm (48) joins Chubb as Senior Underwriter, Property with immediate effect. He has spent most of his career dealing with fire insurance and has gained experience with a wide variety of clients in different market segments. Patrick previously held positions at Interpolis, Aegon and Liberty Special Markets.
Hugo ten Brink (40) joins Chubb as Senior Underwriter, Financial Lines with immediate effect. Prior to joining Chubb, he was Senior Underwriter Financial Lines at PartnerRe Wholesale. Previously, he worked as a senior broker at Aon Professional Services.
