Chubb today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Wizz Air to provide the airline’s customers with travel and flight cancellation insurance cover. Wizz Air is the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe.
The agreement is part of Chubb’s strategy to expand its travel insurance partnerships in Europe. Chubb is already the travel insurance provider of choice for a number of major airlines, online travel agencies and financial institutions.
Travellers who book flights via wizzair.com and the Wizz Air mobile app are now able to add either travel or cancellation insurance cover, or both, depending on their location, provided by Chubb. The cover is available in 23 countries in Europe, and in 17 languages.
