Chubb wins Insurance Company of the Year for second consecutive year at the UK Captive Services Awards

Chubb today announced that it has won the Insurance Company of the Year category at the UK Captive Services Awards, for the second consecutive year. This is the fifth year in a row that the company has been recognised for its market-leading service to UK-based captive clients.

Chubb also recently won the Insurance Company of the Year category at the first European Captive Services Awards last November, held in Brussels.

The Insurance Company of the Year is the most prestigious of all the awards contested by UK insurers. Chubb demonstrated its excellence across all its captive related services, consistent customer satisfaction, profitable growth, innovation in product delivery and services, setting the agenda for major industry issues and a willingness to address the unique needs and challenges faced by clients.

The judging panel was made up of ten well respected industry professionals who were carefully selected for their wealth of experience and expertise, as well as their absence of conflicts of interest.

Clive Hassett, Head of Captive Fronting, UK and Ireland for Chubb, said:

“Through a time of change in 2016, we kept our focus firmly on our clients and the service we provide to them. This award recognises this effort and the importance we place on captives across Europe and globally. Raising our game, delivering outstanding service and setting the bar for overall excellence even higher remains a strategic priority for us in 2017. And we are not tired of winning Captive Services awards – so we promise to be back in 2018 even stronger!”

Chubb’s worldwide offering for captives encompasses a full range of services including full and partial risk transfer, fully-fronted programmes, rent-a-captive and reinsurance services. Three wholly-owned companies, Bermuda-based Chubb Alternative Risk Limited & Paget Reinsurance and Delaware-based Pembroke Reinsurance, provide additional specialist services. These include licensed captive management services to standalone single parent-owned captives for major companies and protected cell solutions for organisations seeking the benefits of a captive programme without the administrative cost and capital required to form and manage a standalone captive.
