10 November 2016 — Chubb today announced the heads of its Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance product lines as well as its claims department in Germany. All appointments are effective immediately and reflect the current integration process following the acquisition of Chubb by ACE.
These appointments follow the announcement of Andreas Wania as Country President and legal representative for Chubb in Germany earlier in the year. They are:
Property and Casualty
Jörg Spier will have responsibility for technical lines in Germany asLine Manager Technical Lines, including construction and boiler & machinery. Mr. Spier joined the company in 2010 and will report to Andreas Faden.
Financial Lines
The financial lines division will comprise two units: financial institutions and commercial institutions. Dirk Wietzke will serve as Head of Financial Lines, with overall responsibility for the business line as well as the financial institutions unit. Mr. Wietzke joined the company in 2001 where he served as Head of Financial Lines in Dusseldorf. He will report to Andreas Faden. Reporting to Dirk will be Jana Dünkeloh, who will assume responsibility for the commercial institutions unit. She joined the company in 2007.

Peter Albrecht will continue to serve as Head of Claims. Mr. Albrecht served in this position for the company in Frankfurt since 2010. He reports locally to Andreas Wania.
