Chubb appoints P&C product line and claims heads in Germany

10 November 2016 — Chubb today announced the heads of its Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance product lines as well as its claims department in Germany. All appointments are effective immediately and reflect the current integration process following the acquisition of Chubb by ACE.

These appointments follow the announcement of Andreas Wania as Country President and legal representative for Chubb in Germany earlier in the year. They are:

Property and Casualty

  • Andreas Faden will assume the newly created position of P&C Manager for Germany. Mr. Faden joined  the company in 2011, where he was Head of Casualty based in Frankfurt. He holds a degree in business administration and will report to Andreas Wania, Country President, Germany.
  • Anzor Bayramkulov will be responsible for the property division in Germany and Austria as Regional Property Manager Germany and Austria. Mr. Bayramkulov joined the company in 2006 and served as Regional Property Manager for Germany and Austria,  based in Frankfurt. He will report to Andreas Faden. Reporting to Anzor will be:
    • Peter Brink will serve as Property Manager for Germany. Peter joined the company in 2011.
  • Christoph Martial will serve as Property Practice Leader for the Western and Northern regions of Germany. Cristoph joined the company in 2013.
  • Edwin Schleich will serve as Energy Manager for Germany, which includes the chemical and petrochemical sectors. He will also retain overall responsibility for the energy business in Continental Europe, reporting to Matt Hardy, Senior Vice President for Global Energy. Edwin joined the company in 2000.

Jörg Spier will  have responsibility for technical lines in Germany asLine Manager Technical Lines,  including construction and boiler & machinery. Mr. Spier joined the company in 2010 and will report to Andreas Faden.

Financial Lines

The financial lines division will comprise two units: financial institutions and commercial institutions. Dirk Wietzke will serve as Head of Financial Lines, with overall responsibility for the business line as well as the financial institutions unit. Mr. Wietzke joined the company in 2001 where he served as Head of Financial Lines in Dusseldorf. He will report to Andreas Faden. Reporting to Dirk will be Jana Dünkeloh, who will assume responsibility for the commercial institutions unit. She joined the company in 2007.

Other lines

Reporting to Andreas Faden will be:

  • Natalie Kress will serve as Cyber Manager for Germany and Austria. Ms. Kress joined the company in 2013.
  • Oliver Dietrich will serve as Marine Manager. Mr. Dietrich joined the company in 2014.
  • Charles Villette will serve as Surety Manager. Mr. Villet joined the company in 2014.
  • Martin Loag will serve as Trade Credit Manager. Mr. Loag joined the company in 2008. 
  • Marc-André Birth will serve as Custom Industry Solutions (CIS) Manager, Germany and Austria. Mr. Birth joined the company in 2006.

Claims

Peter Albrecht will continue to serve as Head of Claims. Mr. Albrecht served in this position for the company in Frankfurt since 2010. He reports locally to Andreas Wania.
