FRANKFURT, Germany & PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE Group (NYSE:ACE) today announced that Edwin Schleich has been appointed to the new role of energy manager for Continental Europe as it continues to invest in building up its energy insurance capabilities across the region.
Based in Frankfurt, Edwin Schleich will be responsible for the development and growth of ACE’s energy portfolio in Continental Europe with an emphasis on the chemicals and petrochemicals industries. Edwin will report to Andreas Wania, ACE Country President, Germany and Matt Hardy, Senior Vice President, Energy for ACE Overseas General. Edwin takes up his position with immediate effect.
Edwin has over 25 years of insurance industry experience and has been with ACE for 14 of these. Prior to his new role, Edwin was responsible for ACE’s energy portfolio in Germany since 2008. Before that he helped set up ACE’s property insurance business in Switzerland and the technical lines division in Germany.
