LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE Group today announced the appointment of Geoff Russell as Regional Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter, UK and Ireland, as it continues to invest in expanding its underwriting capabilities throughout its network of regional offices.
In this newly-created role, Geoff will play an integral part in the financial management and future development of ACE’s significant Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance portfolio throughout the UK and Ireland. He will also have responsibility for developing ACE’s proposition in new and emerging areas of PI, such as cyber, technology and media. Geoff has 12 years of PI underwriting experience and joins ACE from AIG where he started in 2007 as PI Underwriter before being promoted to Senior PI Underwriter and latterly to Assistant Vice President PI, UK Regions. He started his career as a PI broker at Griffiths & Armour.
Reporting to Steve Driscoll, Product Line Head, UK & Ireland Professional Indemnity, ACE Global Markets, Geoff will be based in Manchester and his appointment takes place with immediate effect.
