MILAN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE Group today announced the appointment of Renato Zotti as Director, Accident & Health, Life and Travel, Italy as it continues to invest in its consumer lines insurance propositions for the Italian market.

Based in Milan, Renato will report to Orazio Rossi, Country Manager for ACE in Italy and to Jose Luis Gomez, Director Accident & Health, Life and Travel for ACE in Southern Europe.

In this role, Renato will be responsible for managing the performance of ACE’s Accident & Health, life and travel portfolios in Italy. He will also oversee business development initiatives, including the development of the life and travel insurance portfolios. The appointment takes place with immediate effect.

Renato has 16 years of experience within the travel insurance sector. He joins ACE from ERV-Europaische Reiseversicherung AG, a member of the Munich Re Group, where he was Managing Director for Italy. Previously, he was Sales and Marketing Director for Italy at Mondial Assistance, part of the Allianz group.
