LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE Group today announced a series of appointments within its UK and Ireland region as it continues to strengthen relationships with brokers and clients.

Graeme McGeachie, London and South East Corporate P&C Underwriting Manager, has been promoted to the position of London and South East Regional Manager, Corporate. Graeme will report to Phil Sharpe, Chief Operating Officer UK & Ireland Retail, and will replace Jon Houghton, who having accomplished significant and enhanced market presence for ACE in the South East, will be taking up a newly created role.

Carolyn Hamilton and Jon Houghton will take up the newly created roles of Development and Distribution Manager, UK and Ireland, reporting to Phil Sharpe. Jon will primarily focus on managing relationships with national brokers in the UK and Ireland and Carolyn will continue to focus on ACE’s relationships with key independent brokers and consolidators. Carolyn and Jon will be working closely together as ACE seeks to deliver ever stronger and more valuable relationships with ACE’s broking partners.

Louise Joyce, ACE Evolve Product Manager for ACE corporate risks, has been promoted to the position of Client Relationship Manager (CRM), UK and Ireland Regions. In this newly created role, Louise will work closely with brokers to ensure consistent delivery of service to existing clients and also develop new client relationships. This further enhances ACE’s service proposition. Louise will report to Head of Client Relationship Management, Jeff Carr.

Graeme has 20 years underwriting experience and has been with ACE since 2009 in the role of Corporate P&C underwriting manager, Southern region. Carolyn Hamilton has considerable experience in the regional insurance environment and in managing broker relationships. She joined ACE in 2011 as Regional Development Manager. Jon joined ACE as Regional Manager Corporate Risks, Southern Region in 2010 and was responsible for the overall performance of the region which covers London and the South East of England. Louise has 12 years experience in the insurance industry and has been with ACE since 2005 and has been Evolve Product Development Manager for the past 2 years.
