PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE Group today announced the appointment of Marc Fontanet to the newly created role of Major Accounts Manager for Property, Continental Europe as part of its continuing strategy of investment to build its multinational capability within its Continental Europe region.
Based in Paris, Marc will report to John Neeson, Senior Vice President and Regional Property Manager for Continental Europe. In this role, Marc will have responsibility for the development and underwriting of property accounts, helping to enhance ACE’s multinational and major account capability within the region as well as supporting specific business development initiatives in key markets. The appointment takes place with immediate effect.
Marc joins ACE from Scor, where he spent 15 years with the company in Paris and New York in various underwriting, reinsurance and management positions. He is a Chemical Engineering graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Poitiers (ENSIP) and is also a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) of the Insurance Institute of America.
