Chubb Global Markets, the London-based wholesale insurance division of Chubb, announced today the appointment of Richard Bayman as Deputy Aviation Underwriter, as it continues to strengthen its aviation team, where Chubb is a global leader.
In his new role, Richard will contribute to the management and the development of future strategy for the department. He will also underwrite all classes of aviation risks. Richard will be based in London, reporting to John Wadhams, Chief Underwriting Officer, Aviation, Chubb Global Markets. His appointment is effective immediately.
With 23 years in the industry, Richard re-joins the Chubb team after spending six years heading up Argo, a Lloyd’s aviation syndicate. He started in the aviation market in 1999 and has been a Lloyd’s aviation underwriter throughout, writing and leading all classes of aviation business.
