Chubb appoints new international entertainment insurance head

Chubb today announced the appointment of Francis (Frankie) Hernandez, currently Entertainment Manager for Chubb in the UK and Ireland, to Entertainment Manager for Overseas General Insurance.

In his new role, Frankie will be responsible for the management and profitable growth of Chubb’s international entertainment business, which includes insurance solutions for event cancellation, film and TV production and photography. He will retain his responsibilities for the company’s UK and London market portfolio and will continue to be based in London, reporting to David Robinson, Division President, UK and Ireland, as well as to Bill Puleo, Head of Custom Industry Solutions, Overseas General Insurance in respect of his new international responsibilities.

Frankie has 29 years of insurance industry experience, including 24 in the area of entertainment insurance. He joined Chubb in 2010 as European Entertainment Manager and UK and Ireland Specialisms Manager and was appointed to his current role in January 2016. Previously, he held a series of entertainment underwriting and broking roles.
